Happy Sunday!

Hope everyone's 2022 has been going well so far! We wanted to give you a general update covering the Pledge Manager status, Anomalies progress, and general playtesting. Let's go!

Pledge Manager Status

The pledge manager remains open and available for all. As indicated before, we will not close the Pledge Manager, nor will we charge your credit cards, until we get much closer to the actual shipping timeframe.

Anomaly Report

We're happy to report that our ongoing playtesting efforts have felt absolutely fantastic! We are completely in love with this game, and we especially love the Anomaly content that you all helped us to create! To celebrate, here's a collage we threw together spotlighting some of the Anomaly artwork we've been working on (does not contain images for all Anomalies):

In our next update, we'll start posting the actual game rules we've been playing with for the Anomalies, subject to change as further playtesting occurs, of course.

General Prototype and Playtesting Update

Here's a couple recent prototype pics, including a closeup of a 3D printed Death Dodecahedron. Please note that many of the components shown here are still "placeholders" that do not represent the final heat-printed player ships, pirate ships, salvage and fuel tokens, 12 sided planets, etc.:

Note that the metal version of the Death Dodecahedron will be a much lighter silver color.

We've also been playtesting with 3D printed Space Coins. These are plastic versions of the metal ones that come with the Deluxe Upgrade. We find them absolutely stunning and a pure joy to play with!:

That's it for now - we still have a lot of work to do to fully flesh out the newer Anomaly content in particular, so we can be sure to get every aspect as absolutely stellar and otherworldly as possible!

Pledge Manager surveys have been sent out

Just a quick heads up that we just sent out all remaining Pledge Manager surveys. These emails will come from BackerKit, and should not be ignored. You must complete these surveys in order to confirm your order, add additional items as desired, and enter your shipping and payment information. 

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Due to the volatility of shipping prices globally right now, shipping fees for this project will be calculated at a later date once we have the best estimates for everyone. We plan to enter & charge backers for shipping a month or two before fulfillment when we have better estimates of what it will cost to ship backers rewards. We will alert backers when shipping costs are finalized & before we charge your cards in your BackerKit survey. The shipping fee you will see on your survey now will not be the final amount, and will be updated at a later date. We will keep you informed all along the way!

The age of the Pledge Manager is upon us!

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s essential to respond to your survey as quickly as possible since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

That's a wrap!

There's not much else to say!!

A complete sandbox game experience inside 30 minutes, with an infinite randomization engine that procedurally generates a galaxy... that's a pretty awesome sounding game, if I do say so myself! The sky is literally the limit with this game over the long term, so buckle up - there will be much more awesomeness to come!!

And of course we will work with you all to finalize those open Anomaly submissions/designs over the weeks to come as well...  so look for more updates on that.

For now, we can start breathing a little easier and gearing up for the next major phase of this project!
